You will need to insert the county: Contra Costa and the name of the school district: i.e. Moraga Elementary, Lafayette Elementary, Orinda Elementary, or Acalanes High School District. Then you will need to select the school you are interested in. There is a complete listing of the schools HERE.

This is a very good resource for comparing schools. Do remember though that test scores are not everything. Large variation in scores may have some meaning but slight variations usually do not. If anything, the tests just give you an overall snapshot of achievement levels at a particular school.

NOTE: If you are trying to find the VERY BEST SCHOOL in Lamorinda, good luck! Each school has strengths and probably weak areas. To my knowledge, there is no school that stands out as being the absolute best in the area. I also wouldn't say the schools in one community are better than those in another community in Lamorinda. Check out each school's web site and talk with the school principals or district office personnel to answer any questions you might have.

Walnut Creek School Star Scores: (The Walnut Creek area has four different school districts: Walnut Creek School District, (Buena Vista Elementary, Indian Valley Elementary, Muirwood Elementary, Walnut Heights Elementary, Walnut Creek Middle School). Mt. Diablo School District (Bancroft Elementary, Valley Verde Elementary, Walnut Acres Elementary, Foothill Middle School, Northgate High School, Ygnacio Valley High School).  Acalanes Union High School District: (Las Lomas High School), and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District  (Alamo Elementary, Stone Valley Middle School, Monte Vista High School.)
