Supposedly a pilot who lived in Sleepy Hollow noted the climate difference as he frequently flew over the area and told friends.        Sleepy Hollow is a very popular Orinda address. Sleepy Hollow Elementary School is situated near-by.     Most of the homes are older, 40-50 years old but there are a number of newer homes also in the area built on a few remaining vacant lots.                             Sleepy Hollow Swim and Tennis Club is quite popular. There are tennis lessons available for all ages and swim teams for kids.
