Rossmoor is a very popular senior citizen (55 and over), gated community just 2 miles from downtown Walnut Creek. It is a large community on nearly 2,200 acres nestled in the middle of the lovely Tice Valley. There are about 9,000 residents in single-family homes, condos and co-ops.

There's lots to do at Rossmoor. It has a very active group of residents with over 200 clubs available to participation. In addition there are two golf courses(1-18 hole and 1-9 hole), three swimming pools, 8 tennis courts, 3 lawn bowling greens, horse stables, sewing center, ceramics studio, art studio, wood working shop facility, lapidary room, library, billiard room, hiking trails and a local newspaper. 

There is also a 24-hr security guard, a full-service out-patient medical center, and bus transportation.
